1. Who We Are

REI Agent Advisor ("we", "us", "our") is a product of REI Agent LLC. Our service is available at advisor.reiagent.com. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at support@reiagent.com.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly and information generated through your use of the service:

  • Account information: email address, name, and password (hashed, never stored in plain text).
  • Business profile: business name, type, location, and other onboarding details you provide.
  • Google account data: when you connect Google, we access your Google Contacts (names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, notes, group memberships), Gmail sent messages (for touch logging), and Google Calendar (for follow-up scheduling). We request only the minimum scopes needed.
  • Conversation data: messages you exchange with AI advisors, stored to maintain conversation history and context.
  • Contact and deal data: FORD notes, contact categories, deal analyses, pipeline stages, and property information you enter.
  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, and interaction patterns to improve the service.
  • Payment data: processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the service.
  • Sync your Google Contacts bidirectionally (read and write FORD notes, categories, and touch dates back to Google).
  • Generate AI advisor responses personalized to your business context.
  • Calculate daily touch recommendations based on your contact data.
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions.
  • Send transactional emails (magic links, account notifications).
  • Detect and prevent fraud or abuse.

4. Google API Disclosure

REI Agent Advisor's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically:

  • We only request access to data necessary for the features you use (Contacts, Gmail sent messages, Calendar events).
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your Google data with third parties for advertising purposes.
  • We do not use your Google data to serve ads.
  • Google data is stored securely and encrypted at rest. OAuth tokens are encrypted with a dedicated encryption key.
  • You can disconnect Google access at any time from Settings, which revokes our access tokens.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

  • Anthropic (AI provider): your conversation messages are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate advisor responses. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
  • Stripe (payments): email and subscription data for billing.
  • Email provider: your email address for transactional messages (magic links, notifications).

We do not share your contact data, FORD notes, deal analyses, or business information with any third party.

6. Data Storage and Security

  • Data is stored on secure servers hosted by Hetzner Cloud (Ashburn, VA, USA).
  • All connections use TLS/HTTPS encryption.
  • Passwords are hashed using bcrypt.
  • Google OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest with a dedicated encryption key.
  • Database backups are performed regularly.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Anonymized usage analytics may be retained indefinitely.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your data — your contacts, conversations, and deals are always visible in the app.
  • Export your data — contact us for a full data export.
  • Delete your account and data — contact us at support@reiagent.com.
  • Disconnect Google — revoke access anytime from Settings.
  • Opt out of non-essential communications.

9. Cookies

We use a session cookie (JWT token) for authentication. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies.

10. Children's Privacy

REI Agent Advisor is designed for real estate professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
